My Journey to Becoming a Dedicated Breeder

For as long as I can remember, my love for dogs has been a cornerstone of my life. Raised alongside toy poodles, I developed a deep appreciation for canine companionship, which ultimately led me to the remarkable Barbet breed. My thirteen-year journey with the Barbet began when I welcomed my first, Derby. Tapping into my experience training young thoroughbreds, I recognized parallels in the potential of horses and dogs, further enriching my approach to breeding. For years, I have actively competed in AKC conformation, demonstrating my dedication and expertise.

As a preservation breeder, I am committed to producing AKC-registered Barbet, carefully choosing bloodlines from reputable sources and ensuring comprehensive health testing (CHIC).

My ultimate objective is to provide healthy and well-structured Barbet, possessing true breed type and exceptional temperaments, making them ideal companions for families, competitive dog sports, and the show ring. Upholding the AKC standard is fundamental to my mission of preserving and advancing the lineage of this incredible breed.
